Games

Seven games, two universes

Four of them share Port Indulgence, a neon sunbelt city run by its Vice Mayor, where the Velvet Union are the heroes and the Ski Club sells Snow. Night Dispatch and Clod Commander each have a world of their own. Playable builds are not public yet; write to us if you want to test one.

Port Indulgence

One shared bible. Every game vendors a stamped copy and lies the same way.

Vice Mayor: an isometric town at midday with a treasury, slush fund, approval and federal Heat readouts along the top.

Vice Mayor

Playable, team buildPG-13

An isometric city builder with a satirical vice layer. The familiar half: residential, commercial and industrial zones in three densities, power and water that travel along roads, police, fire, schools, parks, a budget with bonds and ordinances, advisors, a news ticker, disasters. The other half: a Red Light zone that grows motels, clubs and a neon palace. Legalize it and tax it, or have the police look the other way and take the kickbacks into a slush fund. The Ski Club sells Snow from its lodges. Heat builds from the illegal operations; bribe it down, launder money at sixty cents on the dollar, throw parties, or wear a wire. Three raids and you are indicted.

WVMR, the city's only radio station, plays nine original songs and turns from daytime bossa into night synthwave as the neon comes on.

Browser, plain JavaScript, no build, no libraries, no asset files. Started 2 October 2026, built in one evening, polished since.
Uncut Tournament: a neon-lit nightclub arena with a glowing dance floor and the words First Blood on screen.

Uncut Tournament

Alpha 0.1PG-13

A late-nineties-style arena shooter with bots, a Tournament ladder, deathmatch and capture-the-flag maps (a nightclub, a motel, a ski lodge, two space platforms), nine difficulty levels from Rookie up, and a weapon called Disco Flak that turns any room into a dance floor. The Velvet Union are the heroes and the toughest team; Snow is the power-up; the final boss is the Vice Mayor. There is a voice booth for recording the announcer, and a browser voice fills in until the lines are recorded.

Browser, WebGL2, plain JavaScript. Every texture, model, sound and song generated in code. Alpha 0.1 tagged 11 October 2026; a human has completed the Tournament to the credits.
Hero of Tiles: Night Shift: a 16-bit motel courtyard with a pool, palms and the hero on the path.

Hero of Tiles: Night Shift

In productionPG-13

The 16-bit sequel to Hero of Tiles, moved to Port Indulgence. You work the night shift at the Motel Paradiso. Punching the clock flips the town from day to night and back, and the two halves of the map keep different secrets. Lift, carry and throw; hold and spin; chests, keys, a Union card. The opening is playable from the title card to the beach, with six original songs and a sound test of several hundred renders that runs in CI.

Its art direction was thrown out more times than we will admit before a reference image and a rebuild got it right: saturated colour, material-dark outlines, autotiled grass, sand and water.

Browser, plain JavaScript. Forked from Hero of Tiles on 4 October 2026.
Port Indulgence: Reboot: a wet neon street at night under pink and teal light, a lone figure in the distance.

Port Indulgence: Reboot

Pre-productionR

A co-op extraction shooter for one to four players, and the studio's first game in a commercial engine. Night Auditors from every faction jack into the Back Office under the city, card the programs they knock down to rebuild the Motel Paradiso, and get out before End of Business. Every season is a Term, and every Term ends with the Recount.

Phase 0, a toy raid with a HUD, a payroll uplink and a way to get laid off, builds and was playtested by hand on 17 October 2026. Phase 1, the slice, is next.

Unreal Engine 5, Lyra. The only game with an R rating; the satire gets sharper, the hard lines do not move.

Their own worlds

Not in the Port Indulgence bible, by decision. Same habits, different canon.

SECTOR 4 ASHGROVE BAY NIGHT 3 02:41
QUEUE 3 UNITS FREE 2/7

CALLER Lantern Row and Verity Hill. There's
a van. It's been there an hour.
YOU Which corner, sir?
CALLER The... the east one.
NOTE Lantern Row has one eastern corner,
and it is not Verity Hill.

Night Dispatch

In production

You are the one operator on the overnight emergency radio desk for Sector 4 of Ashgrove Bay, 23:00 to 07:00, twelve nights running. Calls arrive in a queue and reveal a line at a time. You read each against a searchable logbook and a road map whose seventeen roads are the real geography, then dispatch one of seven units, link the call to one already on the board, or flag it as not what it claims to be. The units that are out are out. At 07:00 a report tells you, in prose, what each decision cost and what you will not learn until later.

Three colours, one bitmap font, a monospace desk. The prose is the game's best asset and it is held to a register: dry, specific, a person in every call.

Godot 4.7, Windows and Linux, keyboard and gamepad. Nights 1 to 3 final; nights 4, 5, 7 and 8 in draft. A harness of over a thousand checks runs on every push.
Clod Commander: a cockpit view of a dark orange nebula with a flight reticle, speed and throttle readouts.

Clod Commander (working title)

Pre-production, M0PG-13

A single-player cockpit space combat game with a war story. You are Clod, a farm kid from Arrears, next on the roster because the best pilot died last week. The Promissory, the carrier your great-grandparents paid for and your generation finally bolted together seventy years late, has one working hangar bay and eleven pilots. The Receivership, the creditors' fleet, holds the only fuel in the system and has come to foreclose. Fly the five missions that take the ship from drydock to Collateral Station, keep as many names above the line on the roster board as you can, and spend what the Cartage will take for better guns. The news will tell you how it went, right after this message from Underwriters' Mutual.

Earnest war drama in the cockpit; the satire lives in the news and the ads. The roster is the score, not kills.

Godot 4.7, PC download. Kicked off 24 October 2026 with a staffed roster of models. Milestone M0, the yard, is done; the Harrow flies in the harness and nobody has hand-flown it yet. That is gate G1.

The proof

Frozen on purpose.

Hero of Tiles: an NES-style overworld screen with green bushes, a hero in purple and a hearts counter.

Hero of Tiles

Frozen

The first game. An eight-bit action-adventure: an overworld of scrolling screens, grid-snapped movement, a sword with a full-health beam, a shield, a boomerang that stuns and returns, two kinds of enemy, and a sliding subscreen with a map. Ten days later it had a four-channel chiptune engine and nine original songs. It was made from one prompt on 15 September 2026, ten files and about thirteen hundred lines, and it is kept exactly as it was, because it is the reason the studio exists.

Browser, plain JavaScript. Its own world; its sequel moved to Port Indulgence.
